A Hotel with 36,000 m2, which is unique among the typical
tourist accommodation, comprising a different and yet desirable offer
which is sought after by people who enjoy comfort and a unique and exclusive
environment.
The initial impression is surprising, as the buildings are integrated into a unique coastal enclave with turquoise waters breaking on to sand which shines almost more intensely than the shimmering, clean sky seducing visitors from the very first moment... It is a space in which the architect Emilio García-Conde has managed to make architecture seem like sculpture, integrated within a landscape of old, weather-worn mountains moulded by thousands of years of water and wind, giving its name to the Island of Fuerteventura, the peaceful island, the territory which great intellectual figures such as Miguel de Unamuno sought out for intellectual exile.
This play-off between design and territory meant that its design changes straight lines and angles into sinuous dunes which hide and protect the 51 suites. Light is used as much as possible and reaches into every corner to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere, which is perfectly distributed and equipped, making each stay into a different type of paradise.
The layout of each suite means that there is almost no contact with other people. People in the know refer to it as the best kept secret on Fuerteventura!
Despite its proximity to the sea and the beach (200m), few people are tempted to leave the exquisitely designed heated swimming pools, surrounded by beautiful and generous gardens bounding with colour and shapes which flirt with nature.
